Wtf are you supposed to do when you open a door and see carol singers?

Just now i opened my front door and 3 kids and their mum were singing we wish you a merry christmas. One of the kids didn't look like she wanted to do it,. kinda felt sorry for her. Im guess her mum is forcing her to do this.

So i stood there, watching akwardly as they sang along....i mean wtf am i supposed to do?

So when they finished i said "wow, well done" blah blah blah, and gave them some money (just loose change i keep near the front of the house).

So basically, know i just think that Carol singers are beggars in disguise.......or am i just a scrooge?

I've never had carolers at the door...but I'd do the same thing I do to Jehova's Witnesses - open the door, snap a photo, and then close and lock up.

Ahhh the Jehovah's. had two of them come to the door once. they asked if they could come in. They sat down and began the whole "if you died tonight, wheredo you think you would be?" i said, "well, im guessing the morgue." that didnt sit well. then i completely changed the subject and asked if they had ever thought about converting to satinism. they left pretty quick.

I actually got in trouble and nearly got a detention for shutting the door on thechorus class at my highschool haha....on friday the Chorus class was going around to all the study halls and singing christmas songs....So they finally reached my study hall's door and started singing. I was busy talking to people (7th period study) and got pissed off at the loud singing. So I got up and shut door on them.
