Yahoo's top 25 metal bands ( nerd rage)

this list is just rediculous IMO

led zeppelin is not metal, non the less heavy metal, they are ****c rock and at some points hard rock.

acdc... again hard rock. van halen, thats a joke, the only thing that comes close to metal is EVH's eruption solo, same with jimi henrix.

seeing rush on their actually made me laugh, their progressive or arena rock, metal? what song? limelight and tom sawyer are hardcore metal songs amiryte?

iron maiden should be #1 imo, and if they are going to have priest on there, where is motley crue?

where is megadeath?

with this F'd up of a list them might as well have put Pink floyd on there, i mean " one of these days i'm going to cut you into little pieces" is pretty metal .. right? LOL

There's only one band on that whole list that is metal (although rather disputed) and worth listening to. Everything else shouldn't even be there. Seriously, who the hell puts The Devil Wears Prada and Underoath on a metal list?

Ironically I was looking at that list right before I walked on over to OT. I was heavily apalled. Surprised A7X didn't make it, when their guitarist has been called the best in the world.criinok

Putting A7X on there would have just made it even more appalling.

Their older stuff is rather disputed in terms of what genre it actually is, and it seems as though it would be an unusual mix of metal core and traditional heavy metal. Though when we're talking about their newer stuff like City of Evil, then that's just flat-out metalcore. Though when it comes right down to it, they're not usually considered metal.

Slipknot would be rather fitting on that list considering it's mostly a crap list (with a few notable exceptions), so I guess in a way, you have a point.
