That's not Canada. That's Ontario, there's a big difference. Is there a discussion here? Or are we just posting links to 'funny' stuff?

Why is Ontario "not Canada"?

Why is Ontario "not Canada"?
Because they're different people out there in the East. Our country may be united at certain times, but it's widely known that there is a bit of animosity between the two sides. Maybe not East vs. West, but people in the East usually like to bash us in the West and vice versa. Like my original post, I was poking fun at those on the wrong side.

I guess the people in the east had their rounds at the west during the hockey riots. Also if anything Canada is set in the east and the west is just a nice colony.

Yea, I don't know about that. I have friends who live here out East, and friends who live out West. Not sure where you're getting this "animosity" from...Yea, I don't know about that. So you've never heard them talk trash about the other location? I find that hard to believe. I too have friends on both coasts and it's a favorite pass time of ours to insult the other side. While most of the time it's harmless banter, others take it far too seriously. Harmless banter shown in this thread, the west has been referred to as 'a nice colony'.
Lol, Canada is such a horrible country and this video further proves it. Quebec is light years ahead in terms of wealth and education basically.Â

No, I don't consider Quebec a part of Canada. They're two different countries as far as I'm concerned.

No, I haven't. My circle of friends are smart enough to realize that geographic location doesn't dictate populations being comprised of d*cks or insult people because of where they're living. No, I haven't. Except we are. I don't care what the English Government says, Quebec is an independant country and nothing will change my mind.

I have a sense of humor, but... ". I too have friends on both coasts and it's a favorite pass time of ours to insult the other side" I have better things to do with my time. I don't care about harmless banter, but I have heard of *real* insults being thrown around for absolutely no reason other than the fact that someone lives on another side of the country. Not sure where you're getting this "animosity" from...chrisrooR

I see your point, but harmless fun had between friends over a brew is far different than hurling real insults towards one another. I am not one to throw real insults around for the fun of it, but I agree that there are far too many people who do so.

If anything can unite Canada, it's the thinly veiled racism of the Quebec separatists. If those idiots built a wall around their "nation", the rest of the country would happily flood it with the waters from all three oceans. And then we'd all go back to hating Alberta. Zing!
