Except we are. I don't care what the English Government says, Quebec is an independant country and nothing will change my mind.

If anything can unite Canada, it's the thinly veiled racism of the Quebec separatists. If those idiots built a wall around their "nation", the rest of the country would happily flood it with the waters from all three oceans. And then we'd all go back to hating Alberta. Zing!
Haha ...Pierre Trudeau will be reborn and kick Quebec's ass again....Quebec doesn't need its ass kicked, it never did. The English already did that at the plains of Abraham while they were still actually speaking French. What Quebec needs is a new outlook. Most Quebecois don't want to separate - that guy was trying to represent a minority of elitist jerkwads who think they're better than the rest of the country, yet the captains of industry are mostly everywhere BUT Quebec.Â
Sure, we've had lots of leaders from there, but most of them weren't...very good. That said, we don't need another Trudeau; going back in the past is never a good thing. While we certainly need to restore everything that he did that Harper deliberately undid because the Reform Party didn't do it first (nor would have thought of it), saying we need someone who's desperate to get Canada on the world's stage and reunite it is absolutely asinine.
Oh, and QuebecNational, Quebec is a dependant "have" province (which makes no sense at all, but they get more tansfer payments than the Maritimes, who actually need that money). The only reason why your province is being led by separatists is because Jean Charest screwed up so much and the NDP bamboozled you (which is justifiable). Separatism is dead unless you're one of the few remaining bigots who truly believe it. I guess we know where you stand.

Whilst I agree with most of what you say maybe you missed my underrlying intent behind my reference to Pierre...What we need is another French Canadian with the Maple Leaf tatooed on his ass,,,Hard enough to find pleasantly nationalistic anglophones as they tend to reek of apathy..[ no slight intended ]..But someone with fire in their belly and a no nonsense attitude with regards to what a kick-ass country Canada is...Oh and the plains of Abraham reference is just a low jab to the nads and i'm sure our good friend Georges St Pierre and fellow french Canadian would be happy to demonstrate the folly of saying that to his face...Vive le Canada...[QUOTE="Apathetic_Prick"][QUOTE="spiderluck"] Haha ...Pierre Trudeau will be reborn and kick Quebec's ass again....spiderluck

Lol, the English were destroyed by France since France won most battles against the British Empire. Realistically, Canada should be owned by France and we should all be speaking French. Also, you're wrong about most Quebecois don't want to seperate; most Quebecois do because the English Government is trying to destroy French culture in Quebec.
Also, Quebec hasn't recieved the most in transfer payments aside from the upcoming 2014. Quebec is wealthier than all of the Canadian provinces combined so what you're saying is false.
Quebec shall be victorious against the English in time. Most of the Canadian military bases are located in Quebec so basically we own the Canadian Army. If we decided to invade Canada, they couldn't do a damn thing and the English Canadians will have to swear loyalty to Quebec.
