I agree with you, I mean like you could spend money on some stuff that you need (clothes), as for the jobs it depends entirly on what type of job it is. Some people are just more lucky then others.

meh. i've had chicks that were fine with going dutch. the ones that insist you pay wouldn't be of interest to me anyway. unless they are okay with cleaning up stuff because "that's woman's work" (not that i believe that). It's one thing for me to offer. it's another to expect/insist that i pay. because then shouldn't i be allowed my sex stereotypes as well? I don't like hypocrisy.

I'm also a senior in high school. I have plenty of money to pay for dates though because I work on the farm every day. Most of the time dates are cheap though. A movie is $6, dinner is around $15. Yeah concerts are around $20 so that can add up. If I don't feel like paying I'll have her at my house and we'll ride 4-wheelers and just relax at our pond.1stCommando

Me and my girlfriend usually alternate on paying, but in the end, I'm usually the one paying for the good chunk of our dates. But she actually offers to pay for some of it, usually every single time. However, it's out of the fact that we both understand that our relationship is bigger than just paying to get something out of each other, regardless of what that "something" is.
