Anyway, I guess I am not in a nostalgic mood today.

What I never got was, why would Zordon want teenagers with ATTITUDE? Wouldn't it be more effective to get a couble Martial Arts masters from all over the world? It'd be hard to run your whole "save the earth" plan when one teenager is high, the other's too busy playing COD4, and the girl is pregnant.

I remember when I first saw that poster while me and some kids at a birthday party were getting ready to see a movie. All I can remember from that party was that I have never wanted something that I couldn't have so badly in my entire life.

I went back and tried rewatching the first few Power Rangers episodes. Couldn't make it very far before I had to stop watching from the ensuing crapfest. I believe it was only a few seconds into the intro where Zordon says "Alpha, get me some teenagers WITH ATTITUDE" when I realized that the series I remembered as a child and the series that actually exists are not equal in quality.

As for the movie, this is probably a pretty good summation

I was a bit too old for Beyblade, but Monster Rancher and Digimon were obsessions of mine as a kid.

I've still got Monster Rancher 2 somewhere in my closet.
