While JC may be nothing more than a PRC stooge who can't keep his mouth shut and running out of steam nowadays, he still has made a considerable contribution to the action and comedy genre in sh*t for the masses (aka movies) with both his original Hong Kong efforts and made in Hollywood stuff. What are you favorites? As for me:

5. Project A
4. Police Story 2
3. Crime Story - I always found it to be ironic that one of his best works contained almost none of his trademarks: There's no humor, not even one smile from JC, an emphasis on gunfights over CQC, and little in the way of stunts. And yet somehow, it still works and it's the finest of his departure roles.
2. Drunken Master (original) - The very sight of young Jackie flipping the bird never gets old
1. Police Story

Honorable mentions to City Hunter for this one scene alone: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z4Psls1ngwM
Plus New Police Story and Little Big Soldier for being his only real relevent work since 2004.

1. Crime Story

2. Police Story 2

3. Who am I?

4. New Police Story

5. Shanghai Noon

Sad, but expected by now, he is past his prime and his recent controversies are slowly tarnishing his legacy.

While on vacation overseas this winter, I did get the opportunity to catch Jackie Chan's CZ12 which was advertised as his final all-out action movie.

Let me just tell you, that's one extremely underwhelming swan song if it truly is.

Badly told and paced plot even for an action movie, one-dimensional characters with loads of forced attempts to make you care or develop them, terrible co-actors, no real memorable action/stunt scenes (unless you count the blooper reel), preachy commentary about some stupid sh*t involving artifacts, and one awful running joke about bilinguality.

It is okay if you shut down all brain cells though.

I liked Armor of God 2: Operation Condor the most, great stunt work and it's the funniest of his films IMO, though strangely it's the 2nd of the Armor of God films but it released in the US as Operation Condor and the original Armor of God film was released later as Operation Condor 2: Armor of God, though I didn't like it nearly as much.
