Jurassic Park, though I'm mostly going off of nostalgia. But the theme just brings about so feelings; adventure, love, and contentment.

I love your taste in music...Curtis Mayfield was a master of soul and funk. He was also underrated as a guitarist, in my opinion.

You really shouldn't worry about the pitiful overrated/underrated nonsense. If you enjoy it then more power to you.

that would be danny elfmans soundtrack, and yes is epic.

also any scorcese movie, goodfellas comes to mind. the scene where the helicopter is following ray liotta, that is full of great songs.

kubrick always found just the right music to match his films. he did it with a broad scope of genres as well. 2001, the shining, and dr. strangelove all had perfectaudio treats to match kubricks visuals and themes.

I absolutely love the soundtrack to Into The Wild. Eddie Vedder, in my opinion, really outdid himself with the music. It is one of the most emotional and beautiful soundtracks I have heard.

honkyjoe

Two of my favorite film soundtracks also happens to translate very well as a symphonic recording.

Conan the Barbarian by Basil Poledouris

The Lord of the Rings Trilogy Complete Symphonic Recording by Howard Shore.

Both could be turned into symphonies and played live and would sound as well if not better.

Buck_Hotep

Yes!!!

The Siege of Gondor

For Frodo

Grond, the Hammer of the Underworld

etc

etc

etc

etc

*sigh*
