I did the free Prime thing. It was awesome. Not worth 80 bucks a year or whatever. Shoot, I ordered a book from Amazon and got it on the second day with the free shipping anyway.

I would have agreed until I did the math on the shipping savings. I just ordered a freaking guitar off Amazon and it will arrive tomorrow...With free shipping. That alone would have been almost 1/2 the cost of Prime subscription, not even counting the other things I buy from them.

I used to work at Best Buy, so I like them.

I also like EBgames, but GameStop ruined that.

Slackers is awesome, but I don't have one near me.

Never been to a costco, but I hear they're alot like sam's club. I like sam's club.

I hate wal-mart. They make me want to kill myself. Stupid idiots that shop there...

Aldi's.

A few local stores.

@OP: Menards/Lowes > Home Depot. Home Depot sucks! They don't ever have anything there. I'm partial to Menards because they were all we had for a long time and I like Lowes becasue they carry stuff the other two don't.

but Prime only works for things that would be free shipping anyway, if you just had a bit of patience, right? There's nothing you can get through Prime (in 2 days) that you can't get for free without (which may take up to 2 weeks)

hmm...................... Different accounts and everything?!?!?! :o 20 bucks would probably be worth it. Though I'm not sure I could find 4 people... my dad/family is even more... "patient" (read: cheap) than I am.

Yup. Me and my mom jumped on it together at first (we live in neighboring cities) and then my sister hopped on it (she lives in Wisconsin) and then I think one of my mom's friends is the other person on it.

Lots of love in the OT for Amazon!! :D It's really a great store. The selection is unbeatable. Costco is the only place I've noticed that can compete in price on things like blu-rays, books,games and HDTVs
