Pontiacs look beautiful, but man they are not made wellrawsavon
Definitely disagree with that statement...

Glad you had good luck. But every consumer report I have read, every mechanic I have asked, and all my experience (worked in a shop for 6 years) points towards a different conclusion. From 1990 on, they had SEVERE issues with their electrical (radio, windows, fuses, etc), cooling systems, and other various issues. They made some really great looking cars...but they were garbage as far as reliability. And they were a **** to work on

i must've gotten lucky as well.:P

ive had no problems with my pontiac, though my dad took good care of it when it was his. its always been reliable. way more reliable than my first car.

and i agree, pontiacs look awesome.

But it was just not worth it.
Problems are one thing, but they make it almost impossible to do anything under the hood without removing everything and having all the perfect tools

First vehicle I had was a 1998 Toyota 4Runner, wrecked it in Michigan when I was living. What a great SUV that thing was and I'm still trying to find a used one still to this day.

I can attest to this, my power window motors seemed to break every other month. :P

1995 Toyota Corolla. The same model Peter drives in Office Space (tho his looks like a '94). It still runs fantastic as it approaches 200k.

Exactly...even if you replace the motor, it just burns out again. ...so you are left to just not use the window (really fun going through a drive-through window)

99' Daewoo Leganza CDX. Still have it, been driving it for 6 years now, and it's great. Most of my commuting is now done by motorcycle anyways.

You know, I hear those things only go 5 miles an hour, but the gas milage is impeccable! I've had those for 14 years, still haven't had to fill the tank!
