I don't see how I found this difficult earlier in the thread, it seems so easy to control now. The trick I used to unlock it was her shadow of her right foot. When it is spinning clockwise the shadow is in the foreground whereas when it is going counter it is in the background. The shadow always goes from right to left, just follow the shadow and when the foot gets to the middle you should be able to change directions. And when you manage to change it focus on her arms not her legs.

Yes, that worked for me as well. Initial impression was anti clockwise though.
