Your internet persona.

How different would you say you are IRL from who you portray yourself to be on the internet?

I'd say I'm somewhat similar to how I (attempt to) portray myself hereabouts. Regardless, I know some of my friends who are a world apart from their internet personas. :P

How about you, OT? What would you rate yourself on my handy dandy scale?

I talk more in person and am more social-able...but other than that, the same.

Both my life and my internet persona are about the same.

I'm not as opinionated and I'm more polite IRL.

Probably talk and socialize more and crack more jokes irl than I do online.

I'm the same, the only difference is here people actually listen.

Some what different socially but my opinions on here aren't different at all.

Eh, mostly the same. I think I come off as more of a douchebag in person honestly.

And no, I'm not trying to be cool and talk about it because I'm proud. It's usually completely unintentional.

the only big difference i can think of off the top of my head is i end up talking about religion on the internet way more then i do in real life. aside from that basically the same person.

If i call someone online an @sshole or something else to that extent online - which it's rare as is - i'm still just as likely to say it to that same person in person. Provided they said it to me in the same way i read it.

Don't have much a difference in persona.

I don't post nearly as much as some on this forum, and i don't talk nearly as much in real life either. More listening and watching then talking. Not a very brash person on here ( i don't think ) and i'm not one in life either.

Basically the same. Maybe a tad more outgoing online.

Their about the same to be honest, both laid back and relaxed/ witty and humorous at times.

I don't think anyone can say their completely 100% the same in person as they would be online. I mean, you can get away with alot more online and the risk of getting a punch in the face is alot less likely :lol:

Somewhat the same. I'm not as shy or anxiety-ridden OL and I tend to be friendlier. This could be because social groups don't always engage in serious discussions or it could be that looks and other factors blind me, whereas online you only have text to go by. That aside, pretty much all aspects of my persona here reflect what I'm like.

More or less the same although I'm more reserved irl, unless you know me well, then I'm pretty much like I am on here.
