real fad- live strong bracelets, heelies, tech deck, paintball, skateboarding
movie fad- 300, why so serious, Heath Ledger
internet fad- pedobear, over 9000, that wierd smiliy face, mama-luigi, weegee
Would I get modded if I posted a link to the fad in this particular thread? I can't say which fad because it would ruin the surprise.UssjTrunksIt's not a rick roll, is it?
Spiked Hair. Male tanning. And...When everyone was dying their hair blonde. Also, Furbees were mad stupid.Jamiemydearx3
Furbees are posessed
I'd have to say men's skinny jeans. The hell are they thinking wearing those damn things?elblanquito_81
hey i wear them, they're not a fad
The fad fad.
Not everything is a fad, you know.
Greatgone12
the fad fad fad
everything is a fad that you think isnt, you know.
I'd have to say men's skinny jeans. The hell are they thinking wearing those damn things?elblanquito_81This isnt from the 2000-2008. This has been going on since the 70s.. Think Zeppelin.
a lot of people are going to disagree with this but iPod's. Seriously, everyone has an iPod. In high school my teachers always called any mp3 player an iPod. iPod's were commonly stolen, lost or broken. People were always selling them and even buying the new ones that release a year after the previous one :|
Even I bought an iPod but I don't use it anymore. Apple sure done a good job with their viral marketing >_>

I wear them too, and really like them, but I think fashion is just one big fad really (not saying it's wrong or anything).

Think Zeppelin.Sure it is. Maybe not among older adults, but a lot of young people (teens and young adults) have taken to this style of wearing skinny and fitted jeans lately. Skinny being the worst, I think. Fitted jeans are alright, but some have taken to wearing them down almost past their asses, which is just horrible.

Kikouken
Your pretty much right, but the reason I own one is simply because I can put my music in order and such. Carrying a cd player is good and all but I would die if something horrible were to happen to my cds that I carried, such as an accident and suddenly my babies were to break...
gotta go with Crocs. whoever decided that beach sandals could be worn everywhere deserves a slap.
"wow, your hot pink plastic sandals look great with your ripped jeans and t-shirt. no really."
-starman-
Oh yes Crocs why on earth would anyone where those and heelies to aaargh.
As for internet fad, the rick roll drives me nuts.
As for real life fads, really absurdly baggy pants (and their cousin of a habit of wearing them EXTREMELY low), and their exact opposite, super skinny pants. Just looks ridiculous on most people. I will admit though, in moderation, slim/and somewhat baggy jeans look good on most people. I hate it when people get carried away though.
Muffin Tops... umm tops my list. Second by just texting in general. Third is prolly the whole being a nerd becoming a pop culture fad.
