Your mums favorite tune

Phil Oakley - Together in Electric Dreams. This is my mums favorite tune, it came on TV just recently and I was instantly reminded of how many times I heard that track played when I was a tiny little thing. I've always thought of it being a very "Mums tune" if that makes sense. I find most mums tend to like Ballads, especially from male vocals, and if it's not that then it's some love song with strong vocals. So it made me wonder if I'm right in that assumption or if i'm being stereotypical, but then I do have a very stereotypical mum.
