90% editorial entertainment that panders to the viewers politics, 10% news.
just like the rest of the "news" outlets.
They certainly have their share of issues and faux pas however they make up for it with some of the most intelligent journalists in news outlets today. Furthermore they report on things the rest of the leftist media refuses to cover.
As another person put it, they really are just about the only credible news source out there.

You should try listening to Fox News radio, I have no doubt it would change your opinion on their quality.[QUOTE="timothyrolls"]did you type that with a straight face?some of the most intelligent journalists in news outlets today. Allicrombie
it was something along these lines
edit not actually me ^
I think most critics of FSN don't really watch it. They are far from perfect but not much worse than any other cable news channel.DaBrainzI'm pretty sure Fox News viewers who claim it's no worse than other cable news outlets don't really watch other cable news outlets.
Are you suggesting that's a good thing? I wish there were more stations that aired just the facts without the political pandering and spin. Alas, the spinning and pandering help Fox sell their product to viewers, but it results in a consistently uninformed and mistaken audience who can't be asked to verify the so-called "facts" they hear on Fox News. And no, I'm not giving CNN and MSNBC a pass. Most of it is garbage, pandering to a particular political inclination. It's just that most of my family watches Fox News, so I'm forced to hear more of that BS in my personal life. One thing I'll give them over the other networks is I like how the network is focused more around political talk shows rather just boring teleprompter reporting.

I'm saying I enjoy it relative to all the other networks that have the same flaws. Of course it would be nice if they just reported facts. In relation to what national news has become though, I prefer that format.Intentionally misleads viewers to support a specific political ideology. Other networks may have garbage coverage of the news, but nobody intentionally distorts facts like Fox.
Just like CNN and MSNBC just mainstream government approved crap.

Watch TYT or Al Jazeera if you want actual news

Typical crap national media. Just as unwatchable as any of them, IMO.

cnn and msnbc are way betterNo, they aren't. If you want news and not spin, best get it from Reuters or the BBC. MSNBC, CNN and Fox are all about political spin, not facts.

I have yet to see any real evidence of massive bias from CNN that gets them lumped in with Fox and MSNBC. Now granted I don't watch a lot of CNN so perhaps someone could provide me with a clip of a prominent anchor/journalist showing bias.

CNN actually recently switched their model over to more news telling (teleprompter reporting) and less biased editorials. As a result they lost a huge amount of views and their ratings plummeted (although in the last year they've since regained much of their numbers). So atm CNN is really not all that biased of a station. Many of their key reporters are known liberal supporters and it comes through occasionally in their reporting and choice of stories and headlines but they've definitely tried to keep the bias to a minimum. So I definitely wouldn't call CNN terribly biased. But they will most likely switch back to biased reporting. After all, given the amount of viewers they lost it's clear the public doesn't want news. They want entertainment in the form of news.[QUOTE="famicommander"]Every news network is the same... CNN, Fox News, MSNBC, BBC, ABC News.... anyone who thinks one is any more or less credible than the rest is a delusional fool. They're all terrible.MrPralineCredible is something, and sensible is another thing. All major news networks are not credible and biased. But there are those who are subtle and try to at least maintain a professional front to those who agree and disagree alike.
