Your opinion on YLYL?

This threads seem to pop up every single day now and I personally think they are being way overused. They almost always have the same repeated pictures and are just not creative. Would you guys rather have them slow down so we don't get them as often but the users actually spend time to make a fresh new one?

As much as I love me some good YLYL's, you can't justify having 4 in a single day (like today). They shouldv'e contributed to the legendary YLYL thread that was already in progress. A good YLYL takes a while, and there should never be two at once unless the other is lacking or a troll YLYL (EG: posting on 1 pic on the OP).

Just like every other thread on here. If there is more than one, it's annoying.

And it's not just the YLYLs. About a 60% of this board is made up of recycled threads at some point anyway.

now don't get me wrong i love the ylyl threads here, dystopian did a very good job see, but well these new ones are just 1upers with a lack of style and originality props to distopian but to the others, please don't try to top something epic and ruin the art

Weren't the original rules supposed to be that if you lost you couldn't post a pic, but if you didn't laugh then you could post a pic? This rule is almost never followed. I see "Lol i lost, Here are 50 more pics". If that isn't the rule, then the rule should be that you can't post without posting a picture.

Well, since I've seen a few good ones and many repeats, I have to say it would be great if they were more creative. I haven't laughed at most of them lately, but it could be because I'm down right now.

to be honest it's perfectly okay to have ylyl on the OT really we got to realize that things must be done so that they don't get old and overused, I rather enjoy the ylyl, but after a good one there should be a rest period, and well honestly the only way half of these could not be funny is if you honestly don't pay attention to them. I think that in the spirit of a ylyl you should read every post and try to stay serious, but you shouldn't just skim through it and lose all the deaper jokes that you could have laughed at ... i don't think you honestly win, if you scroll through the pics and avoid reading then you're not really playing ...

We need a sticky, the OT funny image thread. We should have Dystopian-X make it and just post funny pictures in there instead of flooding the board with failed YLYLs.SoraX64

Yeah way to many. I say they should put up a restriction for awhile, until more creative images can be found. As many have said, Dystopian has made the only good ones in recent memory.
