Bias, does not tell truth.

Definitely biased. I have no problems with FOX being a conservative news network, but what I do not like is that they call their selves "fair and balanced" when they are neither. Oh, and I voted biased and untruthful because they deceive people into thinking their not biased.
Fox News is mostly truthful, but they present the news in a way that is biased to portray conservatives in a positive light.
I think Mr. Rogers was incidentally evil. He obviously meant to do good, but he did force-feed the notion to young children that they were special without any merit.I'm just gonna leave this beautiful little video link here and let people decide for themselves

Fox is very clearly biased, but for the most part it's truthful.
It's part of the liberal mindset that anything non-left is stupid/wrong.[QUOTE="breakinglaws"]
I don't understand why news channels can have liberal biases but when one has a conservative one it is the worst thing on televison.

Pirate, I know Republicans/conservatives like to think that's the "liberal mindset", but it really isn't any more than there's a similar "conservative mindset." There are essentially as many conservatives who think anything non-right is stupid/wrong as there are liberals who think anything non-left is stupid/wrong.
They're biased. Biased towards the right rather than left, and with all the angstball college kids wanting desperately to matter, you get the undeserved hate. Then there's the fact that half the stuff they do is, in lolspeak, 4tehlulz, or just to flat out piss the liberal media and party.
I don't care much for Fox News. Too opinionated. But, that also goes for all the other news channels: CNN, HLN, MSNBC. ABC, CBS......... They're all junk. The only news channel I watch is the local news.

And let me guess, the conservative mindset is just so tolerant of other views, am I right?

Isn't it funny that so-called conservatives like Pirate like to engage in that sort of collectivism?

Hey collectivism is great for conservatives as long as it's homogenous :P

I don't want to do a Pirate and generalize too much, but that is extremely true of some conservatives.

Honestly, who cares? If a person is not aware where Fox is coming from, it's on them. It's blatantly obvious, or at least it should be. Same goes for any media outfit that is falsely claiming to take a neutral standpoint.
Otherwise, personally, in general, I have problem with most of the media, not just Fox News. Not when they find it necessary to report daily about isolated events that have no significant consequence to the rest of the country, with perhaps the prime example in recent years being the Balloon Boy hoax.
They make me puke every time I hear from them. They use typical bully mentality, accuse everyone else of commiting the criomes you intend yourself to commit, then defend those crimes when you commit them. I heard a barrage of F** talking about NPR beingSS today and it made me want to puke.

The thing is that people buy into it. Most often when I listen to them it is patently obvious that they're pushing an agenda, but the sheer viewership numbers they get make me lose faith in humanity.

They are no worse than NBC, or CNN, or whoeverwhich push a liberal agenda. Yea, I understand Fox News has a bias, some of their shows are out there, i.e. Sean Hannity, but thats no worse than the Rachel Maddow show, or The View. People that condemn fox news should condemn every other media outlet along with it, evey one has a bias, every one. Its human nature, we just see it more right now because of the political climate.
ThisTheokhoth
wow I gotta say you make a fair point. Given this I admit that Fox might be just a tiny bit biased.
Just a little though.

The View, despite having some political content, main purpose is that of entertainment.
As for Maddow to Hannity, no. Michael Moore, on the other hand.
All News is biased and a lie. And Glenn Beck is a frickin psycho nut job. At least Rachel Maddow is a Rhodes Scholar.
Nobody would have a problem with Fox News if they just dropped the absurd 'fair and balanced' charade and instead manned up and were proud of the fact that they're a conservative news channel. Why is that such a problem for them? Ninja-Hippo
yeah they could go under the subtitle, "The News Channel for when the news is now what you want to hear"
