[QUOTE="konvikt_17"]What is cotton mouth? :roll:would have to be a semi-flat soda.
too much carbonation and it gets overwhelming and doesnt really do the job as fast. too less carbonation and it just tastes horrible.
Or Mountain Dew(works fully carbonated or not)
i am basing my answer off my experiences with cotton mouth.

im assuming, due to the ":roll:" emote, that you already know what it is.
[QUOTE="jimkabrhel"][QUOTE="Laihendi"]Soda is a diuretic. Water is fine.Laihendi
Stick to politics and philosophy, not science. Some sodas have caffeine, which is a mild diuretic, but others aren't much different than water, which in decent amounts increases urine output. Which makes water a diuretic.
On topic, I would always pick water if that thirsty, nothing else queches like it.
Philosophy deals with all aspects of reality and existence, which includes science.I expected that kind of pompous answer fomr you. If you haven't taken a lot of chemistry and biology, I suggest leaving science to the experts and focus on on your twisted Randian ways.

You are being a hypocrite if you think that it is okay for you to discuss metaphysics, epistemology, ethics, politics, and aesthetics, but that it is not okay for me to discuss science. Also, there is nothing pompous about stating that philosophy is concerned with science. You are demonstrating an ignorance of metaphysics.water..when I"m really thirsty I can drink a coke and still be thirsty. water is the best thirst quencher imo.

You're quite right that anyone here has the right to talk about any subject. But go back and see my post about diuretics. If you are going to speak about science, do your research and post accurate information.

If your thirsty the last thing you wanna drink is a soda, water is what the body wants not toilet bowl water and high fructose corn syrup
