Your thoughts on Marijuana?

I know these topics are overused, but I am asking for your opinion about it. I know its illegal. Most people like it, and enjoy, I didn't say smoke it gamespot. But its always the people that never give it a chance that are against it. However, if just the state of California legalized it, it would bring in about $1 billion worth of revenue each year. If more states did this we could fix this economy much faster, and in only a couple years or less.

I am completely indifferent towards it. I don't do it, I don't care if other people do it.

People should be able to do whatever they want with their bodies. If you want to slowly kill yourself by engaging in self-destructive behavior, be my guest.

I don't care if other people use it. I used to smoke a lot when I was a teenager, now I don't because of extreme paranoia but do us for medicinal purposes.

It is great and fun. I am a fairly frequent user. I think it could solve lots of problems in the world.Immortalica

From a logical standpoint the legalization of marijuana could effect drug lord profits, and help diminish crime in the US, and hurt the drug trade in mexico.

if cigarrettes and alcohol are acceptable, i dont see why weed shouldnt be. id much rather that the government make money off taxing it, than lose money off trying to stop it in a futile effort.

That is indeed a myth.It is true however that it stays in your system for much longer than other drugs, so if you have to take a drug test, it'll most definitely show up.-Misanthropic-

I've heard that too and researched the **** out of it. Apparently it's false; sometimes it can trigger a flashback( an ordinary one you could get if you haven't done lsd), but it's out of your system within 24 hours( I forgot the exact time so don't want to say a day, a week, a month so I'm going with 24 hours :P).DivergeUnify

Hmmm...good point. There's that whole issue of second-hand smoke as well as domestic violence/fatal accidents as a result of alcohol abuse.

Well Mary Jane isnt addictive and dont believe in the Gateway Drug Theory because it hasnt been proven. Also a recent study at Columbia University says that it takes about 900 joints in a row to even get to a leathel amount. That is in a row.

Im not a pot smoker but they should legalize it here in the US. Legalize it, and tax the **** out of it.

Politically: I don't care too much. I think it might be good to legalize it but with that would come many problems.

Personally: I enjoy it greatly. It has affected me negatively yes, but I also feel it has affected me in a much, much more postive manner.

But whatever, I'm not one to preach about it and can't stand sxe kids who preach all day about how it's terrible either.
