Yes,Marijuana is proven to be America's #1 cash crop right now. It actually would help the economy in a great way if you really look at the specifics of it. The cops could save a lot of spending andput it towards other things, such as drugs that actually are dangerous to use. It would increase jobs and probably raise american spending.There are a lot of assumptions that come along with smoking pot and the "drug" itself, if you really want to refer to it as such. Marijuana actually slows down the rate in which cancer spreads throughout the body, relieves stress (in most cases), and also acts as a moderate pain reliever. I smokeon a regular occasion, and I still function just as normallyas most. I run every other day, I work out, I also play musicalinstruments and, (obviously), play my share of video games. I still play a perfectly functioning role in society. Its the people who smoke pot and who are also completeidiots in the first placewhen theyre not evenhigh, that give us all a bad name.

Not really, but a fact is that you could never be cool being a straight-edge :P

but your main "uncoolness" problem is your judgemental behaviour for things you clearly don't understand. There are a lot of guys who dont drink and smoke and are still cool, because they dont judge those who do it and can have a good time by the side of everyone

There's no reason for so many people to be in jail over something so harmless compared to most other drugs...

Even behind the wheel, it's not even that harmful. Yes it does impair responsive time, but not significantly.

I don't think it's right that employers have the right to fire someone or not hire people that turn up THC positive on the drug test. That is discrimination 1. THC remains inside a persons system FOREVER compared to most other more harmful drugs. A. There is no way of knowing that the person that uses weed is a chronic weed user. Employers should use their own judgement instead of a bureaucratic process. Know that when someone shows up to work high, fire them. Easy as pie. An alcoholic can not drink the day they do their drug test and get hired that day. All because alcohol doesn't stay inside someone's system for weeks on end.

Marijuana can help cancer patients cope with the harsh effects of chemotherapy. For years, doctors have told chemo patients to go in the bathroom and smoke weed to help build their appetite to get some food down to fight the appetite killing effects of chemotherapy. Now in a lot of states, this process is illegal. Way to say FU to cancer patients, legislators...:roll:

You mean illegal, right? If not, then your arguement kinda contradicts itself. Also, people that smoke cigarettes get sick because they're smoking a commercialized product. Ever think about what kind and how many petsticides and insecticides they soak tobacco with? Then people buy cigarettes and then inhale the pesticides and insecticides. Duh that's how they get cancer. That's the only positive side to marijuana being illegal. So long as it is illegal, most of the time it will be organic, and thus noncancerous.
