Since there is no conclusive evidence to suggest that life goes on after death.I accept the fact that the brain merely ceases function, and all neural and conscious activity die off with it, as wee as all bodily functions.After which one rots, and like others have already mentioned become one with the dirt and essentially cease to exist.
This is neither sad nor depressing.Just reality, the cycle of life.Natural and inevitable.
