[QUOTE="SilentSoprano"]I cringe whenever I hear something like this. :PChildren of Men is the only one I can say for sure, it's my top film of all time.

Why?
I could go on until you are bored to tears. :P Short version the movie had no idea what it wanted to do, so it tried to mash an action movie and drama into one giant hodge podge nonsense. I find it hard to get emotional about that baby truce scene when not 10 minutes ago Clive Owen was smacking someone with a large hunk of metal in well-choreographed grace. Also I hate the giant leap of no more babies=totalitarian faceless bad guys.[QUOTE="SilentSoprano"][QUOTE="Sajo7"] I cringe whenever I hear something like this. :PSajo7

If the topic was "Best movie of all time" and he wrote that, I could understand your point, but the topic "YOUR top 5 films" kinda alters it to his personal opinion. Therefore, he's not wrong now, is he? No one is necessarily wrong when it comes to media and art, I just found Children of Men awful and he wanted to know why. It's not like I think he is less of a person. Why?

I could care less how some random person on an internet forum feels about me. I'm not one of those tards who cares about being popular on a website.

The 220 minute version?I don't know, it came on TV a while ago. It was very long, definitely over 3 hours. Really enjoyed the film, much better than Once Upon A Time In The West IMO, I think that's very overrated. One of Leone's other westerns, The Good, The Bad, The Ugly is the best western IMO.
1. LOTR:Return of theKing
2. Toy Story 3
3. The Lion King (mostlysad)
4. The Pursuit of Happiness
5.TIE: Anchorman - Stepbrothers
Honorable mentions: Training Day, Man on Fire, Apocalypto, LOTR: Two Towers,
Chances are the version you watched on TV was the infamous American version. It would easily break the 3 hour mark on TV as the American version is about 2 hours and 20 minutes. But compared to the one that screened in Europe, the American version has been labeled as a very poor film as it cuts out a lot of parts that were vital in the picture, and it was completely against Leone's wishes.I don't know, it came on TV a while ago. If you can get your hands on the 3 hour and 40 minute version, do so. Seeing as you liked the version you already seen, you'll likely really love this one. But then again maybe you already seen it, I just never see the Euro version of the film on TV.
HM: Inception and The Dark Knight
1. Reservoir Dogs 2. Jackie Brown 3. Casino 4. The Lion King 5. No Country for Old Menawesomeface
