I mean a song that could sooth your seething hatred and rage after you totaled your car... One of my favorite "meditation" songs, and one of my favorite songs ever, has to be Aqueous Transmission by Incubus. It doesn't matter what happened during the day, if I come home and listen to that song, everything is just fine.

Pachelbels Suite #4. When I was younger, I had some minor insomnia problems, but this song would put me to sleep in less than a minute.

I find Keith Moon's cover of The Beatles "In My Life" is pretty soothing. I forget all the anger and stuff and listen to it. I love that song lol

I often meditate to Atom Heart Mother by Pink Floyd. Its long and theres not too much happening so its good to just play over and over for about an hour or just once to completely relax.

Blaise Bailey Finnegan III by Godspeed You! Black Emperor. Anyone who has heard this knows I'm right. Well, any song by Godspeed beats anything in this category, except for maybe Happipola(sp?) by Sigur Ros. Welcome to the Machine by Pink Floyd is also great!

Although I don't sooth my anger away, my ultimate relaxing would have to be Mother Superior by Coheed and Cambria. Or if I'm allowed, Circa Survive's entire second CD. Mmmm, sometimes I'll just play that quietly and half nap half daydream to another world. Lol, I usually wake up with a puddle of drool on my pillow.:P
