[QUOTE="dog64"]The one for Chrome isn't as good, and other simular aps for other browsers don't block as many ads, if any.Hexagon_777

The integrated advertisement blocker in ChromePlus is pretty good. Why not give it a shot?

I did, it didn't work for me. I subscribed to the easylist, and I still saw banner ads and video ads just about everywhere.

Then Firefox it is! You could also try the one for Opera, however.

I've been using Firefox with ABP for a while now, and its great. However, I recently started looking for a replacement browser because videos on Youtube and JTV frequently pause and stutter with Firefox, even without the ads. In IE the videos play perfectly, but I can't stand the ads.

Add blocker actually works on the ads on youtube vids? Rattlesnake_8
yeah. The one for FIREFOX does and if you have the right filters for the OPERA browser, it can as well. I havent seen one on chrome that block youtube vids as well as other vids on the internet.

You use Firefox and have tried Chrome. Guess it's Opera's turn.

I just tried that and it does work better. I don't see any ads on Youtube, although you now have to click on the video in order to use the controls. Other than that it looks like a good alternative to Firefox.

Just downloaded AdBlock for Firefox... Took (quite literally) 10 seconds and it's working like a charm so far. :)

I just watched a 30 second ad that I couldn't skip for a video that was less than 2 minutes long so I agree. We can't really do anything about it though.

EvilEightBallz

Yes we can. Adblock.

the last time i downloaded something like that i ended up with a virus so......yea....ummm no!

You got a virus... from Adblock....which is a legit app? No you downloaded a knock off. If you're using Chrome or firefox, you should always download it from the Firefox or Chrome App Store websites.
