I have to say, having been a network administrator for IRC in my youth, I think people here would be shocked at the speed with which power becomes responsiblity. In my experience, banning people: 1.) Causes uproar 2.) Causes them to come back on proxies 3.) Is just unpleasant 4.) Becomes one in an endless chain of moderations If the thread posed what you would do given ultimate power over something, maybe it would be fun. Becoming a mod or admin however is just... a nightmare IMO. An absolute nightmare, and part of the path to eventual burn-out.Frame_Dragger
