Shaun of the Dead invented it, Zombieland innovated on it. More credit should go to Shaun of the Dead, but Zombieland was more entertaining.

Zombieland for me. As many have said Shaun of the Dead started out strong, but slowly fell as the movie went on (from a comedic perspective). British humor in general though just doesnt do it for me. Aside from Shaun of the Dead and some Monty Python stuff, it is all bad.

That's tough, but I have to go with Shaun of the Dead. Simon Pegg and Nick Frost are brilliant in it.
Gotta go with Shaun of the Dead.

Shaun of the Dead because of this:
Ceraby
Where is this from??
Almost positive that's Highschool of the Dead but I read that so long ago I can't be sure.Zombieland. It kept it's course throughout the entire movie. Shaun of the Dead was funny at the beginning than became a real zombie movie at the end. That's fine, but it didn't seem like it "fit" I guess.cd_romReally? ANd the Bill Murray bit was fitting was it? The huge timeout in a zombie film. No that wasn't straying away from its course at all... /sarcasm
Shaun of teh Dead.
Zombieland is awesome and im looking forward to the sequel, but the only reason why its awesome is because of Talahasse (can't spell that...)
Shaun of the Dead is just brilliant though. In almost every way, it is the perfect zom-rom-com in my opinion.

I am currently watching the Highschool of the Dead anime and that seems like you are definitely right.[QUOTE="cd_rom"]Zombieland. It kept it's course throughout the entire movie. That was one of my favorite part of the movie. Bill Murray is the man. Check out his short with RZA and GZA in Coffee and Cigarettes.
Shaun of the dead by far. The only thing that made Zombieland stand out was Woody Harrelson's character Tallahassee. The majority of the jokes were pretty bad, and the other characters were pretty dull. Even the famous cameo in Zombieland wasn't that funny. I liked what happened with the cameo, but they dragged that joke on too long. There was some decent action, but Shaun of the dead is a much better and funnier zombie film in every way.

Shaun of the Dead by a very large margin. I enjoyed Zombieland a whole lot but not nearly as funny, memorable, smart or rewatchable as Shuan of the Dead imo.SaintLeonidascouldnt have said it better.
I saw Zombieland twice and have no urge to ever see it again.
Ive seen shaun of the dead at least 3-5 times and I wanna buy it and see it again so bad.
