Well you dont need to spend $1200+ to play games on high to max settings. depending on if your building a pc or buying one here are some choices. A good prebuilt that can play games on high settings: http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=4138011&CatId=2630

Now if your building a Pc:

thanks for the suggestions..

but i originally bought this pc for crysis and other games in the future that will need a lot to played at every maxed out as smooth as possible...

i said if im going to put money into a gaming rig, i might as well do it big, you know?

when you said i wasted money, i thought you were going to tell me that i bought something that didnt match (lol) but i see thats the the case so i feel much better.. .

anyways, thanks for answering my question, i was getting nervous thinking that a 1000w power supply wasnt going to be enough...

2560x1200 (maxed res for crysis) and/or any res below that if the fps isnt sufficient enough for me.

Dont buy for the future, the new generation of video cards are suposedly a big step forward so your better off only getting one of those cards. You cant future proof a computer. I didnt realize you were getting 12gb of ram lmao dont bother 4gb is more then enough to play games and music + a movie in the background and more useless junk.

ok the res is good but i wanna advice is that dnt go for the i wanna max everything stuff coz in about a year thr will be better cards which will only require u a single card to max out games like crysis i mean dnt just waste money to give urself a feeling that wow i just maxed crysis i know it feels good but u will be like wow i shld have saved for the better gpu which comes a year or so after u made ur pc but if u really wanna go for it then just njoy ur system but also see that gpu's are getting better and better so i think sli and stuff is not that good but thats just wat i feel if u want just go with it but if u ask me ill save for another card upgrade year later njoy ur high def gaming
