I am quite worried about the power supply not being sufficient enough and have to invest more money into my new computer. I currently have a 230V supply, do you think it would struggle with a 8800GT?

lol, a 230W supply would not be sufficient enough, it probably wont even boot up your system. Look for a PSU in the 500W range.

Good brands are like seasonic, corsair, antec, and enermax.

The corsair 520W HX would be ideal, and will be abe to handle future upgrades.

Oh, thank heavens, nice PSU btw :) Mines only 500W, it came with the Antec Sonata 3 case, it runs the 8800GT like a charm! :D

lol 230V is the UK standard for how much power is going into the PSU from the mains.

I just came here to ask pretty much the same question, I have a 300W PSU will this be enough to run one of the new ATI cards, or would you recommend I upgrade the PSU, cheers?
