The 2600XT does pretty good in DX10 mode on Company of Heros. I assume it's because it has 120 stream processors.

The HD2600XT is looking better and better compared to the 8600GT - driver improvements are helping it out a lot. If you want to get Crysis running smoothly though, you're probably going to want another 1GB of RAM though, and possibly a dual-core processor if you can afford one.

Heh, good luck. Most of the results on google all point to the same few articles.

It doesnt have 120 stream procesors. Its just the way ATI count their procesors.Andisuggestgoingfor8600GTS.

ATi R600 has 64 stream procesors that are capable of doing 5 operations per cycle thats why ATi has multiply them whit 5 (64x5=320). same is whit their lower cards. If nvidia would count that way, you would have to multiply all their stream processors whit 2. For G80 that means 128x2=256 shaders running at highers speeds than R600 shaders what eventually means more shader power for G80 compared to R600. I think.
