The HD2600XT is looking better and better compared to the 8600GT - driver improvements are helping it out a lot. If you want to get Crysis running smoothly though, you're probably going to want another 1GB of RAM though, and possibly a dual-core processor if you can afford one.

ATi R600 has 64 stream procesors that are capable of doing 5 operations per cycle thats why ATi has multiply them whit 5 (64x5=320). same is whit their lower cards. If nvidia would count that way, you would have to multiply all their stream processors whit 2. For G80 that means 128x2=256 shaders running at highers speeds than R600 shaders what eventually means more shader power for G80 compared to R600. I think.
