320mb 8800gts ok for 1680 x 1050?

This is the resolution of the monitor I want, and I hear that the 320mb version only has problems with extremely high resolutions. So how do you think it would perform at that level for games today and tomorrow (crysis...)

The screen size is 22", if that makes a difference.

I was going to say the same thing. That's a fairly low res., considering other higher res. results we have seen already.

Hmm, I think it might be pushing it a little with AA and AF on. But it might be ok, wait for other responses ;)

yeah thats right .. the 320mb gts will play whatever u give it on that resolution.......

It is now can't speak for the future... no one really know that DX10 games will require in terms of hardware as none exist. If you can afford the more expensive version I'd go for that as it will last you longer.

id say for sure yea. ive seen it do well up to 1920 but again noone knows about crysis benches. your gunna have to wait and see

I sprang for the extra 320 myself....better safe than sorry, as I play at that rez too.

i picked up a 320. i plan on stepping up anyway otherwise i would have got the 640
