IMO it's kind of ridiculous that they are even putting prices on such a small addition to the game. 3$ isn't alot, but the amount this 'DLC' adds to the game is so minute, they could easily just give it out as a free patch instead.

I don't even want to get the new campaign and it's certainly worth the price "if" you compare it to a meaningless unit DLC, until they make the game a little more stable. Unit DLCs are pretty stupid imo, you have mods that are better than some paid skins, but pre-loading them is outrageous, what, they can't wait a few days to release it? when I saw the Steam update yesterday I close it, immediately. This is the worst joke CA pulled in a pretty short time (since the announcement that they won't make anymore extensive Empire patches, if at all, so they just abandoned this broken beta of a game and focused on the real new TW game, Napoleon).

Modders don't get them cash. That's not what I'm talking about. I've seen Total War mods. What I"m saying is, I would think a modder could easily add this in.

Most definitely. Just look at all the mods for Empire and Medieval 2. There is even a lord of the rings mod called third age total war.
Meh, this DLC is stupid, as it's for factions I didn't even play when I owned the game. I would be more interested if they added new units for European factions (as, you know, they make up nearly all the playable factions.)
