$500 for a new GPU suggestions please.

I currently have a 5850, but it is starting to screw up from time to time. So if you could suggest a GPU or 2 that doesn't go over $500 I would be great ful.

6950 crossfire rapes 560 ti sli, so don't even mention 560ti. My suggestion though would be to wait it out till Dec for the 7000 series

gtx 580 hands down unless your willing to wait

id suggest 6950 crossfire since two of those destroy a 580. 6970 crossfire match up with the 580 sli, there are lots of benches out there to prove it. But id wait it out till December, to see what happens. I don't think the 7000 series will be ready by then but it can't hurt to wait and see.
