Ionyx, why does the 7770 have 640 SPU's? And if it did have 800 like the 6770 would it be faster than a 6870 because of improved architexture?

7770's 640 SPUs are clocked at 1Ghz.

7750 uses the same amount of power as a gt430 and performs almost as good as a 6850. I would say that's pretty darn amazing for an htpc setup.

7770's 640 SPUs are clocked at 1Ghz.

:( why not give 860 SPU's and make them run at 1ghz
