i too have a 19" monitor and know that this gfx card will continue to max games for a while. Even those games like Crysis which require true demand. With this card you wont need to get another card for a long time. Its a big step of from its predecesors.
someone told me that having two 8800gts's in an SLI configuration would only improve FPS in a game by about 5-10 FPS at most while playing on a 19in. monitor. is this correct?suetracy
here is in SLI MODE

Here is a single card mode

I dont know exactly by how much the FPS will increase but I can tell you its not worth the money, just 1 320mb GTS will max any current game on a 19inch monitor..skinnypete91
i really doubt it would be able to max out oblivion with 16xAA/AF and Transparency anti aliasing supersampling. I bet you would get 10 FPS if that
haha, im not too sure with you there. the 8800 GTS is ridiculously powerful, it can max any game out there at the moment without a sweat and will keep doing so for quite some time.blingbling4Agreed. Sometimes people underestimate the power of the 8800's. The GTS can easily max Oblivion (4X AA, not 16 lol).
Correct me if I'm wrong, but 16X can only be achieved through the Nvidia control panel. When I say max, I mean in terms of in-game options.if you have it set to 4xAA instead of 16X then its not max because you could go higher
