A few questions involving the Orange Box

1. Can I run this game on a laptop with 2 gig ram, 240 or so megabyte graphics card and does it need the num pad?
2. Do I have to sign up to steam to play it?
3. also I have this game already on PS3, but I heard the PC version is better, can someone tell me all/some of the differences.
4. and a little of topic, but how large is Garry's Mod to Download. I got a crappy Internet provider :x

1. not enough info to speculate. try yougamers.com to see if you meet the minimum/recommended requirements. no, you don't need the number pad to play the games on the orange box.

2. yes.

3. keyboard/mouse; bigger community for tf2; user-created maps for both tf2 and portal; better graphics.

4. i don't have mine installed at the moment, but steam is telling me i'd need 140mb to install it, which sounds kind of low...
