Maybe some of you already know this, maybe some of you don't. I followed a tip on how to increase frame rates for your games, I mean not a huge difference but it would help in the performance. Follow this if you want , or not, but im using some tools atm. This tip helped me increase frame rates in Crysis by 10 fps. It's not a major increase but it definitely helps alot. Now I can enjoy the game without interruptions of lag.

What I did was I downloaded GameGain2, then ran that.

I use CCleaner to fix issues, clean unwanted crap on the computer which also helps make your pc run abit faster.

Using Pcboost is like being an automatic Task Manager>Process. What it does is that it sets the highest priority to the program you are currently using , example, right now my priority for firefox is set to high and when I play the game , it will change the priority for the game. It's safe too as long as you don't set it to realtime as this may cause system crash and may damage your hardware.

Just a few tips here if anyone wants to follow, if not, then don't have to. I strongly discourage comments saying "I got a better tip etc. yours sucks", this is just a tip im giving out because i wanted to share it with people. I will admit it may not be the best tip but it certainly helped me.

I'm just going to have a play with the other program you mentioned, but I can honestly say, "CC Cleaner" is an absolutely fantastic program whether you play games or not, and would highly recommend it to everyone as the results after running it, especially on a PC that hasn't been highly maintained for a while, are amazing. But best of all, it's 100% free!

Another tip is to shut down all unnecessary programs running in the background.

CCleaner works like a charm.

Defraggler is also good.
