Are there any graphics cards out now that can play modern warfare 2 ?

Considering that it's not out yet and that I haven't seen the actual requirements it's tough to say. I would be very very surprised if the 9800 GTX's couldn't handle so of course my beast of a GTX 295 should be able to own it. I'm not too familiar with ATI's cards though I'm sure their upper end cards should be able to handle it no problem. IW seems to always be very cautious about making a game that needed to much from a system. So I'm sure even lower end cards will be fine.
considering MW2 uses basically the EXACT same engine with no real graphic improvements, yes. My old ati 9800 256 mb could max the game roflDr_BrocoliTrue. Since games these days are made with consoles in mind, you can expect no real significant graphical development until the next generation of consoles. Therefore, I'd say you'd be pretty safe with a decent $100 card out there.

so in short get any top of the preformance pile cards from the hd 2000, hd 3000, 8800, or 9800series and your laughing my friend.
probably, unless it is becomes a lazy port.

COD 6 is a Native PC Game ported to consoles, so I don't think we have to worry about lazy ports.

Might as well, even though I believe the 8800 series of cards are about 3 years old now they are still very nice cards that can play any game on the market with decent settings
...Taking an educated guess I'm going to say if you want a smooth experience.
Dual Core 2.2 and above. A single core could be pushing it.
1GB (2GB Vista)
Nvidia8800 Series or 2900 ATI Series. 256mb memoryreq, 512mb recconmended
Approx 10GB for HDD.
Thats a guess of course going off the differences between COD4 and WAW although you have to factor in Infinity is a much better dev than Treyarch. Regardless the better the components the better the game should run.
Any mid-range card from now should max it with no troubles e.g. 8800, 9600 and ati equivalent.
Call of duty has never really been graphically demanding anyway.
You have to remember a lot of these games are being produced first on the ps3/360 and being ported to PC, any midrange card should be able to handle the graphics and make them look as good or better than the console versions. You shouldn't have to worry about your GPU if you have an 8800 series card for any multi plat until the new generation unless it is built first for the PC, or any game in general unless it's PC exclusive.
