well at the end of the day, the iphone is only a mp3 player and  video ipod,

whereas a gaming computer can do so much more,, i would opt for the gaming pc,, but it really depends on what u think u will use more, and enjoy using more,,,

A $500 gaming PC would be a definate waste of time. If that's your budget, go for th iPhone. On the other hand, if you have $2000 to burn... ;)

You could only get a very basic system with that cash, probably not worth spending on a full gaming rig.

You'll have to excuse me. I'm thinking in UK prices ;). That would set you back more than $1000 over here.

Whilst they aren't necessary to somebody who already has a computer, those builds dont include monitors, speakers or keyboards either

source games dont usually take alot of hardware power, and you should be able to play BF 2142.

You'd be out of your mind to get an iphone, no matter how much money you have.

why?StEvEnThEdOn

Because like all Apple products, it's sorely overpriced and (from the looks of it) quite breakable.

AHAHAHAHAHA Iphone... Lmao!

Get the new PC. Sure, the Iphones look kind of cool in the commercials, but you should realize that they are nothing more than a multi-media phone. You will play a few crappy games, watch a few movies, listen to music, and call people... Sure, that is quite a bit to offer from a portable device, but if you really want an MP3 Player, get one of those Zen Vision M players, I don't personally have one, but I heard they are better than the Ipod and are much more affordable.

If I were you, I'd go for the computer.

u seen the simspons where the ipod takes over humans  get the pc man. that 800 Build is excellent u can even make it cheaper by getting the core duo 2 that is priced at 115.  and the 53 160Gb. more then enough, u save near 91 dollars. then that money saved can be used on the Tax :(

what the hell is an iphone? let me guess, an ipod and a phoen together made by none other than apple. You know how much stuff it takes to make an iphone? Less than 30 dollars I bet, just tiny wiring and a crappy harddrive. Hell, I bet it freezes frequently like my ipod where I have to hit it constantly to make it work!

It's much more than that, do your research. Not that I would waste $500 or $600 on either versions of the iPhone, but first read up on the iPhone (REX3453). As for the topic creator, gaming PC would be the way to go.Â
