What is up all? I was wondering if this game is an improvement over the first? Mainly I am talking about in terms of repetitiveness. I am sure the game will be some what repetitive, but is it atleast better than the first, or is it safe to say if I did not enjoy the first, then this is no different?

Well, to preface, I liked the first a lot... but this game is just beyond amazing. There is so much to do and see in game that it really makes me wonder what they did developing the first (most likely work on the engine). Overall, it's a major improvement that you should play on PC, regardless of the DRM.

Alright sounds awesome. I am not one to not buy a game due to DRM, though I am not a fan of it. Anyone else?

While I played AC1 for about 4 hours that was all I could stand. It got very repeativive and stale. AC2 on the other hand was an excellent and fun experience the whole way through. Great variety in missions, story and the hand out abilities right up near the end of the game, all of which I find great.

AC2 is so much better than AC1 is ridiculous.

On the PC it's an extraordinary program. My time with this game just flew past. I spent 40 hours playing this thing - it felt more like 15.

I rolled this sucker on my PS3 and didn't touch anything else until it was finished. It's good if you ask me, action, discovery, treasure hunting and a super epic story. Story might be better than Deus Ex. Lots of amazing info in the game if your ego will let you believe it.

If you're going to buy it for PC I'dd recommend getting a controller to plug-in.

Most improved sequel ever imo.

Seriously amazingly free game, so much stuff to do, so many ways of tackling a single situation.

If you liked the first, even just for certain things like the climbing, you are gonna absolutely love the second.

I'm gonna tell you that the PC version sucks, beside the DRM. There are many issues such as bad fps, on good, bad or monster PC's. Also you have screen tearing for no reason. And the mouse support is ass, every time you turn it around it's either too slow, or it causes some kind of stutter. Also some slow downs for no reason, and you get instructions such as *press green button to run, press blue button to punch* For the gameplay aspect, the game is too ****** easy for anyone with one functioning arm. Yes there are a lot of things to do, but why in the hell would you want to do them? You don't need the money, i didn't have problem killing everyone in my way with just the thing on your finger you know, the dagger. So yeah it looks like they made this game for jock douchebags ...

climbing system is so buggy , yesterday i was on a mission to climb on a top of a tower and you keep falling off corners , and when you are finaly up , on that small tower there is 4 guards , fi you hit them , then your assassin moves forward and falls down and dies ofc , another 10 minutes of climbing ! and that happened to me like 4 times !

this was the first single player game i rage quited ...

Here you lot go again picking up on minor glitches.

If every game was judged by its glitches no one would play Oblivion or Fallout 3 now would they.

I've noticed some very minor glitches, such as sound tears and maybe some small object tears but these are few and far between.

Come on stop basing games on their minor flaws.

It's not small glitches is a porting job they did in a day, and then charged 60$ for it.

i have it for the 360 and got bored after the first couple of stages. reading some of the comments in here it sounds like i may have missed something but i thought the story and characters weren't particularly engaging or memorable and, other than the climbing, the game didnt have much else to interest me.

definitely an improvement on the original though

its better but not great. It also has horrible mouse smoothing, cpl fix will fix it but you shouldnt have to apply reg hacks to fix the game.

In my opinion it wasn't much of a difference from the first game mechanics and gameplay wise. Sure different story different character you play, some minor additions like weapons and tools, but it has the same mechanics as the first game, same blend system, same things you use to lower threat from guards, same weapons (dagger is pretty much throwing knife weapon which resembled a dagger). It is still a great game but after playing the first it does get repetitive, expect to play threw it once and then most likely never pick it up again.
