Admit it... You are a Steam sales addict

Man, I do not see how some of you people get around to playing all these games... So far on this deal I have bought theoverlord 1 & 2, RE5, Lara Croft, and torchlight. Igave myself a $30 dollar limit for this whole sale. So far I believe I spent $23. So I prob have 1 maybe two more games I will get. Some of you are going over board tho.

Some of you guys r buying 4 or more games a day. Sheesh to me that is a waste of money. I could never get around to playing all those games. For today I am interested in red faction and tropico 3, but I am being realistic with myself and realizing I will never get around to those games. So why buy em? I think some of you are just buying simply to add to your collection lol.

Hell, I bought Just cause 2 and Batman for the thanksgiving sale. I am starting to forget the games I have lol. Time to look in the mirror and admit it. You are a steam sales addict. :o

Im pretty sure some people only buy games during the Steam sale. Im certainly like that. I think about 85% of my Steam library was purchased at better than half price, and the rest is stuff I got at retail or gifts. If you spend $100 on the steam sales and get 40 games, thats20 times more than you would get if you bought games at full price (...ish) .

So I say buy away fellow PC gamers, and have enough games to last until the inevitable summer sales!

As for this christmas, Ive got myself Super Meat Boy, Overlord, and Im about to get myself Splinter Cell Double Agent. I still need to convince myself to buy Dragon Age. but I have a few more hours to decide.

Once I set my computer up I plan on spending like $40.

I admit I am a addict. When I see a deal I will buy it, there are some games I still haven't played from last years Xmas Steam Sale but I got it cheap so I don't mind!!

Money is tight, only 2 games for me this year:

Tomb Raider: Anniversary ($5)

Dragon Age: Origins Ultimate($25)

I'm guilty of purchasing 16+ games. I know it'll take me a lifetime to play most if not all of these games but I wanted them. :P

I snagged the Square-Enix-Eidos pack, the Valve Pack, the Rockstar collection, the Oddbox, the Prince of Persia collection (including the 2008 game), The Witcher, and a couple other games. I now have 137 games on Steam... Now that I think back, I may have overdid it. :?

I bought the FEAR pack, Fallout: New Vegas, and the Tropico 3 Gold Edition.

Not much, really. Nothing catches my eye, and I'm already running out of possible games to buy, since I've bought so much during the sales last year and this year. There are few games left that I actually want to buy.

Not just steam.. but impulse, d2d and gamersgate to haha.
This holidays I have fille dout my collectino very nicely. Alot of games that I skipped on were on sale at these places, picked up a bunch of games I have either not played yet or only played a little of.

These sales are xmas are just ridicolous.

None. The only steam game that I bought on sale was audiosurf last year. I seem to have no money when there are the big sales.SF_KiLLaMaN

I missed the last few sales (think the summer one) and Black Friday one... so made sure to have a bunch of money stashed away for these xmas sales hehe, glad I did to because there was some great sales on variety of sites.

Only 1 so far. I'm exerting a little control over myself... I know if I go nuts I'll put all my money into those indie packs, but deep down I know I'll NEVER touch them. Those puzzle/platformer games don't do it for me. Full game or nothing :P

Other than that though, no sale has been *good* enough for me to jump on blindly.

So far I've spent just barely $30 bucks on 4 games, which is just half the price of COD BlackOps and more than likely will keep me occupied for far longer than that game ever could. So I feel pretty damn good.

this is the first year i actually had the foresight to remember to save money for the Holiday Sale so I definitely splurged and am buying well over 20 games. I don't see myself buying nearly as many games during next years sales though since this sale is only so great because of the ammount of games I don't have but had saved money for months knowing that the holiday sale would be terrific. I've only spent around $60 so far.

so far almost all the games i bought are from the first couple days of sales. I've showed restraint these past few days not buying any huge expensive pack waiting to see what comes up in daily sales

1, the robot dlc for Borderlands. Haven't been that impressed with this years sale. Last year was alot more insane deals think i had bought 10 or so games.

Nothing this year. I haven't really come across anything that I want or I don't already have. Not a good year for me, but I still have a bunch of games to finish.

Only, like 4 so far. I've had to scale back since I spent quite a bit during Turkey day. It's only the super around 5 buck deals that I know for sure I'll play now. Got some good ones though: BFBC2, Borderlands, Burnout Paradise.
