[QUOTE="chrisrooR"][QUOTE="flipin_jackass"] That depends on your Internet plan and the bandwidth limit provided by your service provider. Some will allow, say, 60GB per month. If you go over that, you might have to pay extra $5 per 1 GB extra, for example. flipin_jackassSo if I'm in a house with five other students on a limited internet plan, who may download just as much as I do, would it be better off just to buy the hard copies of larger games? I think we're on an 80gb limit or so. That's really hard to say. If you all download exactly at your limits, then you're each allowed 16 GB per month. Looking at the system requirements for ME2, it's 15GB, so you'll most likely go over your personal limit (unless you can live with 1GB for the rest of the month). Maybe you can negotiate with some of you roomies to allow you to over your limit this month, and they save their personal use. Maybe you can download half of the game this billing cycle, then the other half the next. There's ways to get around it I'm sure. Then again, I did see ME2 at Walmart the other day for $10, so maybe it's not so bad to just buy a physical copy. Well to be fair, I asked my dad for the game for my birthday (on the 29th), so he'll be paying for it. I was just trying to save him from spending an unneccessary amount of money. If it's 15GB's though, I suppose I'll just opt for the physical copy of the game as I would probably need to reserve my share of the bandwidth for school. Thanks for your response! :)
I bought Super Meat Boy and VVVVVV, still waiting for anything else good. If I don't see anything next week I'll buy Puzzle Agent and that will be it. This sale kind of blows in comparison to last year's.
But yeah, anyone who hasn't bought Super Meat Boy: f***ing BUY it because it is AWESOME. Well worth it even for full price, and it's currently $3.75 which is practically giving you money for all the great content you get.
I've been pretty good about limiting myself. Only bought Borderlands GOTY (wanted that for ages) and will probably get NWN2 bundle and Serious Sam Gold today.
But if you count the Humble Indie Bundle steam games...yeah. I got it just for World of Goo and Braid, but the others are pretty fun too.
Oh, and I got Far Cry and the Baldur's Gate games off of GOG.
Well, s***. Limits, my arse.
