Adventure game reviews question?

sites like Gamespot and Game spy and others seem to give low reviews to most adventure games but the adventure game sites give totally opposite reviews..Who to believe before buying an adventure game

I guess that, before buying an adventure game (or any kind of game for that matter) you should also check comments that other players make about the game, besides only reading the reviews. And is good, that this days, on most of the games you can watch gameplay videos and it helps you get a better idea about how the game is played. Better that a trailer... :) And is also good, when possible, to try a demo of the game

If you're gonna look at reviews at all from sites, look at ones that specialize in that paiticular genre, not mainstream sites like Gamespot, Ign and crap like that.

And if you're gonna look at users opinions, look to ones that have similar tastes in games that you do.
