So I have decided to do a sort of upgrade/new build when Ivy bridge comes. I plan on upgrading my mobo CPU and RAM I have a mATX case along with a 500w Powersupply, a 1tb HDD Windows 7 and a monitor I also have a old HD 4850 512mb. This PC will be a single GPU build and generally be used for general computing and browsing the web. I will use my old HD4850 for now as I am not gaming that much, but would like the ability to upgrade to a better card in the future.

Here are the options I am considering
Option 1
2500k and ASROCK z68 board from microventer with hyper 212 plus and 8gb RAM from newegg

I can get this motherboard and a 2500k from microcenter for $250 w/ tax. I might be abble to get a similar deal with a Z77 motherboard when they come out next week, but I'm not sure. Do you guys think that my power supply would be able to handle overclocking the 2500k and possibly upgrading to a more power hungry video card in the future?
Option 2
Wait for Ivy Bridge 3570k and Z77 boards and buy with Hyper 212 and 8gb ram
I think I might be able to get a similar deal to the one above with the 3570k but am not sure if the Z77 boards will be as cheap as the Z68 boards or if it is worth waiting for the features brought in ivy bridge/ Z77.
Option 3
Get an i3 2100 now or wait for ivy bridge equivilant and don't bother overclocking
This would be much cheaper than the other two options, but I don't want to regret not having a more powerful CPU down the line. Ideally I would like to use this CPU MOBO RAM combo for the next 5 years or so.
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!
