no body used to talk Dedicated servers or not but after MW 2 Hype every one now is talking about Dedicated servers, Weird !!!

Because dedicated servers used to be standard. Now gamers are afraid that developers may throw them out the window so that they can charge for DLC.

Dedicated servers still ARE standard. I really hope devs don't take IW's f*ck-up as meaning that they can claim dedicated servers as a premium feature now.

Great! Last I heard ded servers were out but good news! Yea no invasive DRM and this will be big I hope.

The AvP has always had fantastic Mp, its been a surprisingly large focus. The three very different races, and following that a large range of sub classes, and a wide variety of modes, and customization made it a joy to play. Hell a few friends of mine only ever played them for Multiplayer. I do hope there is a cooperative survival mode like in the first AvP, it would be the icing on the cake, of the potential goodness. Saying that the single player offerings of the games have been top notch too .

This is very good news and a huge relief to me. I am really not a fan of peer to peer and I don't know if I would have gotten this game if it didn't have dedicated servers for multiplayer. Hopefully Rebellion pulls off another good game here.
