[QUOTE="KHAndAnime"]Under 1 K/D ratio, especially in this game - is pretty bad. SickStench
Then play Hardcore mode! I love that mode, reminds me of Insurgency
my score per minute as of now on bfbcs.com is 121.20
my K/D is .94 , personally, i dont care what my K/D is because we all know you can achieve a good K/D for just picking off targets. I started off playing this game playing an efficient Repair Engineer type of role, thats how I contributed to games winning. MY K/D will get better, since I calmed down on engineer roles.
K/D ratio means nothing in this game imo. Mine is 0.85 or something like that. I usually play medic and sometimes assault. I rarely play enginner and almost never recon. I like to be in the front lines where the battle is fierce, and try to keep my teammates alive so I tend to die a lot. But when 2-3 good medics play in the same squad, we die but also res each other and we can push to the objectives, never have to spawn way back from the first spawn point.
I tried to play recon a few times, my K/D ratio was over 1.5 usually each round. You can have a good K/D ratio with standing behind on the attacking team and sniping some random wandering soldiers and be absolutaley no help to your team.
K/D ratio is for simple info and maybe satisfying your ego. It does not mean you play the game good .A good player should have a understanding of the teamplay first.

Ive killed plenty of people with 1 shotgun blast and less than 10 sniper shots, sounds like you just need to learn to play.
If your score is near the top, then you must be doing something right with medding/ammo/motion mines etc. If you're down the bottom of the scores on each map, with this k/d ratio then yes you've failed hard.
The style I play is, if you get noobed by a rocket or 40mm, then noob them back! I play rush a lot, use the terrain, get ahead of my team and start taking points, if my squad are dead then I hide so they can spawn on me... then go and get the job done. I think my ratio is 1.85 and I'm fairly aggressive, but not suicidal.
