Amazon begins to like PC Gamers!

Awesome you found that dude. Amazon has been offering incentives and discounts on PC games for quite a while though, it's not incredibly new. They also offered $20 credit for MW2 last year, for example http://www.fatwallet.com/forums/expired-deals/960885/

Amazon, Newegg, and GoGamer are great places to look for good deals on PC games via online retail. My experience has been that with incentives/discounts and even very often with their standard prices, these guys tend to be cheaper than picking up games on Steam, particularly new releases. Where Steam factors in heavily with great prices is during it's Steam sales, such as over the holidays.

I have Black Ops current pre-ordered with Newegg for $49.99, straight up price -- not a credit (unsure if it's still at that price). I'm considering switching it to Amazon but haven't yet pulled the trigger.

Yeah, maybe since they are all at the same price they receive the same incentive. I remember Mafia II had a $10 credit for the PC version (for a $39.99 "effective" price), I don't think the console versions were at that same price though.

Amazon is also running a buy 3 games for the price of 2 (PC/consoles/DS) special right now if you weren't aware, might be some decent titles in there. Definitely if you have the interest, consider Black Ops for the PC -- return of dedi-servers -- you should be able to meet and greet some good people to game with.
