To be fair, it does auto select the steam version and also states that it is the steam one :P

Email CS and explain the situation, they'll get you sorted.
Cheers,

its allright, ill just play through sp and be done with it. If it auto selects it, I do not know how I didnt get it. I just searched for max payne 3, saw digital download version which also said requires steam, than clicked purchase. Oh well.
I can't decide between Max Payne, Spec Ops or the Darkness 2.. Anyone know which one is worth getting out of these three?

They are all worth picking up.
Max Payne 3 is the best,
[QUOTE="SPYDER0416"]The Darkness 1 and 2 are totally different. I was somewhat disappointed with The Darkness 2. It's a solid game, but not great.Nice!
I'm on the fence about Spec Ops since it would suck up like 1/5 of my Summer Sale budget I've made (I set aside $150 for Steam/Amazon sales), but I am REALLY interested in it and can't rent it until I'm back in my home country two months from now.
The Darkness II is more likely something I'm interested in, I played the hell out of the first on PS3 so I originally wanted II on PS3 as well (if at all considering the lukewarm reviews), but I guess switching platforms for a series I'm familiar with on another system isn't the worst thing in the world (though its not really something that benefits vastly on PC like other graphically demanding or more PC centric titles). Still, $13 seems a bit much for something I wanted to nab on Ebay for $5 at some point in the future.
Hmm, tough choices. Its too bad they won't put the first Condemned game up there, that stupid getgamesgo site won't let me buy it. I guess that might be my fault in something I did trying to buy it, but still, I REALLY want that game.
Elann2008
Yeah that's why I'm reticent in picking it up. I loved, LOVED the first game, and it was a rough diamond overshadowed by a fantastic year of titles.
The second changed so much, and not necessarily for the better. The cel shading is neat, but makes the dark feel non existant while making lights harder to see and avoid, the weapon limitations are odd (since Jackie has access to a supernatural demon that apparently stored all his weapons for him last time), the linearity and short length I heard about really make me want to rent it a bit more then buy it (since the first was actually rather lengthy and open), and I don't think removing Kirk Acevedo as Jackie was a great decision, nor do I like that they seem to overdo the whole "he misses Jenny" thing that made the first so great.
But its a good price, and I've heard good things.

Max Payne 3, easily. I bought it full price with no regrets, while it also has the highest MC score of the 3 and is just a fantstic title all around.
Is Black Ops worth it for 20 bucks?fighter91
In my opinion no. I bought it a few months ago when I put together my pc and it's iffy. Runs kinda sluggish and often stutters and I've tried everything in the settings. There's a fair amount of complaints when it comes to the game. I would read the reviews about it. I still play it occassionaly but it's not optimized for crap on pc.
Yes, they will activate on Steam as long as they have a Steam DRM version of the game. You can purchase the game now and download it later via your my games section in Amazon or download it now and then re-download it again on your new PC. Amazon keeps a record of all your purchases and you can download them at any time. Can these activate on steam? and also if I buy it now and my PC is coming in a few days can I get it on my new PC or the comp that I buy it with is the one I have to use it with?

I'm surprised Spec Ops has been getting so much love. It looks super generic :/
Baranga
It only looks like that to people who instantly dismiss it when they see a dude with a gun in the desert and then never bother to read more about it.
How about if you've read heart of darkness/seen apocalypse now?
Is it just copy->paste with water retextured to sand and jungle to skyscrapers?
Any thoughts on Crusader Kings II and Victoria II.
James161324
Crusader Kings II I only recently bought, but I've played Victoria II since release. It's a very fun game, but you're going to want it's expansion, A House Divided. If it's on the cheap, then it's a steal.

Thank you for the heads up. I almost forgot about it. I'd appreciate any feedback regarding Crusader Kings II. Thanks in advance.
Just sifted through it.. X-com collection for $2.99. Excellent deal.. Some more good deals in there too. Check it out guys.
Elann2008
Crusader Kings II is absolutely amazing. It's a slow paced game, but nothing else lets you simulate the time period of medieval Europe quite like it does.
