What are you trying to prove. The E6750 beats the HIGHEST end phenom in every game except supreme commander. And even in supreme commander only the phenom 9700 beats it and the E6750 is ahead of the rest. It's quite sad that most phenoms got beat by the E6750 in sup com considering that this game is one of the few which is actually optimized for quad cores.I guess you got yourself massively owned here.

proof plox? i showed you mine now you show me yours. that was also just an example, wasnt really thinking about games at the time... most games don't support quad core.

Games are the only thing what matter sorry. And the performance of the lowest phenom is so bad it's not even funny.

But wait,UT 2004 and supreme commander are BOTH optimized for quad cores as you can see that the Q6600 beats the E6750.Well i am sorry but that is just SAD to be honest.

also, for another example which would apply to games, the 6000+ beats the e6300 and they are both the same price.

start making sense and stink on topic please, were talking about amd price/performance vs. intel price/performance we have already established that intel beats amd in raw power.

Whatever we were talking about the high end market and Intel owns it without question.Whoever buys a phenom for gaming is just dellusional.

What? You are the one who said that the lowest end phenom beats the E6750 and costs the same and you got owned pretty badly and now you are talking as if you never said something.

of corse intel high end market is dominant, but their cpu's are also incredibly expensive which is the whole point the the argument.

No you are not.Sorry i should say it this way that if you are building a new rig then you should not get a phenom.Ofcourse if you already have an AMD mobo then the performance increase is not worth it.

[QUOTE="bike749"]here my question why would you buy amd over intel when intel is kicking amd ass.Lilgunney612

Haven't you just read the previous 90 posts? There are plenty of reasons, budget, personal preference etc.

How can anybody have a "personal preference" for a CPU.Do you like it's shape or the packaging.Or maybe you think that AMD like you or something.

maybe he prefers his wallet not being raped by intel? :P

:D
