amd talks big game in driver notes leak..HD 6850 = HD 7400???

amd has had a driver note leak for their current complete 11.10 driver revision adn well.. nvidia best be worried.

for one simple resounding fact written their plain as day..

AMD6850.1 = "AMD Radeon HD 7400 Series"

6850 = hd 7400

umm WHAT!!!

we also have a full a proper listing of both the amd desktop hd 7000 and mobile 7000 codenames.

somebody gonna get laid out if thats true..

Wtf? If my card is equivalent to a $20 equivalent of the HD 6000's, just what the heck would a $400 card be equivalent to?

they probably changed the naming system, thats all. I doubt a 7000 series will be that much more powerful than the 6xxx

That seems to be a trend now. PS for hot linking use its very simple to do.

Just do the hotlinking on each link, I posted on my union board the other night and had 3-4 links in one message linked

That's nice and all... But I'll believe it when I see it. After the BD fiasco, I'm not believing any rumours nor advertisements that has the AMD brand in it.

That is not what the driver code means...
That is simply an ID for the driver. It has no relation to performance or to an actual 6850 product.
